Are these various port groups or VLAN's to where the one you took offline was needed to run those systems? A vSwitch can have multiple vmNIC's and when looking at it does each switch show a different port group or VLAN? Sounds like you think you have redunancy, however you won't if you have networking VLAN's either on the vSwitch or your Physical Switch that don't match.

Message was edited by: CSSMP I took your PIC and added some notes as example since I think your issue is either no redundant VLAN on vSwitch and/or on Physical Switch. In this example if your server network were vmNIC 5 & 7 then you should be fine and if not then you have an issue on the physical network side more than likely. However, if you have four various vmNIC connecitons and only have a 1:1 Portgroup assignment then your issue would be there. I think you should be able to work your way through this by reviewing the network connections.
